Steve is Head of Private Equity Coverage at SCALE Healthcare, a business management consulting company that provides expertise to private equity sponsors, lenders, portfolio company management teams and independent physician practices across every discipline and clinical specialty within healthcare services.

He formerly founded The Altumeta Group, LLC, a healthcare management advisory firm specializing in assessing, strengthening and scaling alternate care healthcare services organizations in technologically innovative medical and surgical sectors. During the past 25+ years of his 40+ years healthcare career, Steve has served in practice management and multi-site facility executive roles (Independent Board Member, Executive Chairman, CEO, President, COO) of both private and public U.S. multi-state healthcare service companies including 22 dermatology/med spa practices, 158 medical spa’s, 71 Lasik surgery centers and 136 multi-specialty ASC's. He formerly worked at American Hospital Supply and Baxter Healthcare. Most recently, as Executive Chairman, Steve led a private equity sponsored medical spa business through COVID shutdown, retooling and reopening, propelling the revenue and EBITDA growth trajectory.
